Hydroponics is a method of Agriculture which falls under the Soilless method of Growing crops.

Working:

Plants are placed in a Tray called NFT trays where water flows at the root zone. The water contains necessary nutrition required for the plants by mixing necessary salts in the tanks. The plants absorb nutrition and water from this water and the excess water flows back to the reservoir tanks. 

Techniques of Growing in Hydroponics:

1. NFT
2. DWC
3. Ebb and Flow.
4. Trough
